Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious eu news today uk centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.
Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
